New Quality Engineer Joins CIC

A new quality engineer has joined the team at Capital Injection Ceramics Ltd.
Andrew Moss, 35, from Cambridgeshire, brings a wealth of experience to the company having previously worked in roles involving quality management systems.

He studied Environmental Sciences at The University of East Anglia, where he gained an interest in environmental management systems and has previously worked for both Anglian Water and Norfolk County Council.

In 2012 Andrew joined Walkerpack Ltd, a provider of warehouse and packing services. For the last eight years he held the position of HSQE manager, developing their management systems.

As a quality engineer at CIC Andrew will be reviewing and updating the company’s quality management system manual, auditing its effectiveness, developing procedures and driving improvement. A key responsibility of his role will be ensuring interested party requirements are met.

Andrew said: “I am really looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead at CIC.”

CIC, based in Corby, Northamptonshire, specialises in the manufacture of injected ceramic cores used in the industrial gas turbine (IGT) and aerospace industries with an established and proven range of core bodies. CIC is also certified to AS9100, the highly respected aerospace quality management standard.
