Facilities
- CIC's world class facilities in Corby extend to over 2,000 sqm.
- Facilities include die storage, QC laboratory, mixing, injection, firing, inspection, finishing, CMM, coating, strengthening, wax preparation, packing and shipping.
- Recent investment of £750k including a new kiln, mixer, presses, CMM and CNC doubling existing capacity.
- Addition of new factory space – doubling kiln and injection area.
- CIC currently employs 50 staff with additional QA, QC, technical, site engineering.
- Commercial and administrative support is provided from Capital's international headquarters near Sheffield.

- Since start-up CIC has successfully developed over 200 cores including over 60 in the last 12 months.
- Around 80% of CIC's production is components for Industrial Gas Turbine castings; CIC also produces cores for aerospace castings, medical and hardware.
- CIC has proven its capability by producing some of the largest and most complex blades and vanes.
- Amongst other products, we manufacture 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th stage blades and vanes for IGT.
- Aerospace programs include Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Rolls Royce Viper, Rolls Royce Trent, Pratt & Whitney PW305.
