CIC, as with all other manufacturing companies within Capital Refractories, is accredited to ISO 9001: 2015.
CIC has been certified to the ISO 9001 standard since its formation in 2006; at the beginning of 2008 the strategic decision was taken to attain AS 9100 certification. The reason to adopt this more rigorous and demanding standard was to demonstrate to existing customers our commitment to exceptional quality standards and, of course, to attract new customers.
It is believed that CIC is the only independent ceramic core manufacturer certified to the EN 9100:2018, technical equivalent of AS 9100. AS 9100 is a standardises management system controls for the aerospace sector and was created to meet the requirements of aerospace companies worldwide. Through implementation of this standard, companies like CIC achieve significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value stream.
